Stroke parameters

How a stroke is sewn.

Applies to Running stitch, Ripple stitch, Zigzag stitch, Manual stitch.

stroke_method

Method. The stitch the path is sewn with. A running stitch goes along it and a zigzag across it, and manual stitch puts a needle point on each of its nodes. Ripple stitch arrives in a later version, and until then an element set to it is skipped (SC-W0011).

  • Accepts: one of running_stitch (Running stitch), ripple_stitch (Ripple stitch), zigzag_stitch (Zigzag stitch), manual_stitch (Manual stitch)
  • Default: running_stitch
  • Ink/Stitch: same key, meaning and default
